The world once celebrated a hero known as the Verdant King, a guardian blessed with the power of nature. He healed the land, protected kingdoms, and brought life wherever he walked. But when a great plague swept across the world, he failed to save those he loved most.
Consumed by grief, the Verdant King turned to an ancient relic hidden beneath the World Tree. The relic promised a world without suffering, death, or loss. Desperate to undo his tragedy, he embraced its power.
Instead, it corrupted him.
The hero became a tyrant.
Now twisted forests consume entire kingdoms, monstrous vines roam the land, and the Verdant King's dark magic drains life from the world itself. If left unchecked, he will complete a ritual that will turn all living things into part of his endless forest.
Yet a prophecy speaks of one final hero.
That hero is you.
